Mercedes presenta le serie speciali Designo Manufaktur Edition e Exclusive Edition per l’iconica fuoristrada Classe G, orgogliosamente in listino dal lontano 1979.
DESIGNO MANUFAKTUR EDITION. Studiata per Mercedes‑Benz G 350 d e G 500 si distingue per le tre colorazioni speciali disponibili a catalogo: designo magma red, designo mystic white e obsidian black. La carrozzeria è personalizzata con un corredo di elementi in nero (tra cui le tre barre laterali sulla calandra anteriore, calotte degli specchi e copertura della ruota di scorta) in abbinamento a ruote in lega da 19″ AMG con design a cinque razze e pneumatici 275/55 R 19.
Gli interni prevedono sedili rivestiti in pelle nera Designo con cuciture a contrasto di colore rosso, volante AMG-Performance bicolore rosso e nero, cinture di sicurezza in rosso Designo, placchetta designo manufaktur Edition sulla consolle centrale davanti alla leva del cambio.
L’allestimento è ulteriormente arricchito da Exclusive Package (con sedili a regolazione elettrica e climatizzati, plancia in pelle, placche sui brancardi illuminate e soffitto in microfibra Dinamica nera), Sport Package con the Exterior Stainless Steel package (pedane in acciaio, tappetini in velluto e, sulla G500, scarico sportivo) e Chrome Package.

EXCLUSIVE EDITION. Disponibile solo su Mercedes-AMG G 63 e G 65 rendono le versioni più sportive e performanti della Classe G ancora più possenti dal punto di vista estetico. Sono infatti personalizzate con protezione sottoscocca anteriore specifica, fasce adesive sulle portiere, inserti in gomma nera e copertura per la ruota di scorta in colore carrozzeria, ruote da 21″ (nero opaco sulla G63, finitura in ceramica sulla G65) con pneumatici 295/40 R 21. Solo per questa serie speciale, inoltre, è possibile avere il colore di carrozzeria grigio AMG Monza Magno con finitura opaca.
Negli interni l’allestimento prevede plancia, volante e sedili rivestiti in pelle bicolore, in abbinamento a inserti in fibra di carbonio o lacca nera. Il Seat Comfort package prevede anche sedili con regolazione elettrica e climatizzazione.
La Mercedes G 63 Exclusive Edition costa (prezzo in Germania con IVA al 19%) € 163.125,20, la monumentale G 65 Exclusive Edition viene 287,658.70 €.

Customers who wish to upgrade their G‑Class with even more individuality, style and luxurious appointments will find the perfect package in two new special models: with a choice of the designo manufaktur Edition and the Exclusive Edition.
It’s available for the Mercedes‑Benz G 350 d and G 500 and combines a particularly eye-catching design with high class interior.
Three paint finishes are available: designo magma red, designo mystic white and obsidian black. The AMG 5‑spoke light-alloy wheels with 275/55 R 19 tyres are likewise in black, as are the inserts in the side rub strips. The three louvres of the radiator grille, the exterior mirrors and the spare wheel cover are also in obsidian black to round off the design.
Inside the black designo nappa leather with colour-coordinated red topstitching is coordinated with AMG Performance steering wheel in red/black. A luxurious highlight is set by the trim in black designo piano lacquer, with the red designo seat belts forming a contrast. Black leather grab handles in the roof liner and the exclusive “designo manufaktur Edition” badge on the centre console round off this well-coordinated overall package.
The standard equipment comprises Exclusive package (consisting of the Seat Comfort package including multicontour front seats and seat climatisation for the driver and front passenger, leather-lined dashboard, 4 illuminated door sills and a designo roof liner in black DINAMICA microfibre), Sport package including the Exterior Stainless Steel package (running boards on the right and left, sports exhaust system (for G 500) and black velour floor mats) and Chrome package (including chrome surrounds on the seat adjustment control and loudspeakers in the front doors, plus the luggage compartment sill with Mercedes-Benz lettering).
The G 350 d designo manufaktur Edition costs € 109,878.65 euros and the G 500 designo manufaktur Edition € 121,683.45. According to Mercedes-Benz the Designo Manufaktur Edition has a price advantage of around 24 percent compared to a comparably equipped standard model.
It’s available only for Mercedes-AMG G 63 and the G 65. They boasts, visually, a model-specific underguard of stainless steel, AMG sport strips on the sides, rub strip inserts in a dark aluminium look, the spare wheel cover painted in the vehicle colour, AMG light-alloy wheels (5 twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in matt black with high-sheen spokes on the G63, ceramically polished light-alloy wheels in a 5 twin-spoke design for the G65) with size 295/40 R 21. Apart from the other paint finishes in the sampler, the matt paint finish AMG monza grey magno is exclusively available as a highlight for the Exclusive Edition.
In the cockpit standard appointments include the designo Exclusive package with a two-tone, leather-lined dashboard and AMG sport seats with two-tone leather upholstery. There is a choice of two-tone designo nappa leather in six attractive colours, or as an alternative two-tone seats in designo nappa leather in three colours with seat side bolsters in black carbon leather.
The G 63 Exclusive Edition costs € 163,125.20 and the brutal G65 Exclusive Edition comes for an astonishing € 287,658.70.
